So at the end of the month of March is was my birthday! Traditionally I tend to spend the entire week celebrating rather than just the day so I thought I’d blog about it in a more lifestyle post kinda way! I have been fairly absent from Kayos Beauty since my birthday because I have been travelling and I didn’t take my Macbook with my to blog as I thought I’d save it until I got home, so here it is! My birth-week celebrations just for you guys!
If you’ve been following for my blog for a while, you’ll know that I have been on a constant look out for products that give the effect of thicker and more voluminous hair. The last product I reviewed for this cause was the Kevin Murphy Fresh.Hair Dry Shampoo and I have to say that product is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it 100% but with a price tag of £18.99 it’s always good to look at potential cheaper alternatives too!
First off I know I’ve been absent recently and I keep saying I’ve been busy but it really is true! Things are finally calming down a bit as I have a three week break, then I’m back for two and then I’m pretty much done till summer! Fingers crossed during that time my schedule for blogging will become like it was last year and I will have more time to sit down and blog!
For now can we just get into a hopefully awesome and helpful post!
Dry Shampoo is one of those things that seems super generic, it all does the same thing right? Personally, I don’t use loads of dry shampoo but if I do I’ve tried different things but mainly gone back to Batiste because that seems like the most popular brand, it works and it’s reasonably priced.
My mum actually purchased this from me and I believe she got it from the hairdressers that we both go to. It’s the Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair ‘Dry Cleaning Spray’ which is pretty much dry shampoo. So I thought I’d give you a review of the product!
It feels like forever since I added new content to my blog, but I’ve been seriously busy with work and uni and general life things. So the first month of 2015 is officially over and I don’t know about you guys but it has definitely felt like a long one! I do however think that January is one of the more interesting months for favourite posts because obviously everyone includes the things they’ve been loving that they got for Christmas and it’s normally filled with interesting stuff! So prepare for a complete mixed bag of favourites from me!
I definitely don’t think that I’m the only one who plans ahead on purchases and intends to buy to things at certain points but since I’ve started the new year with a budget, I’ve had to think about it more. It is definitely human nature to want things we don’t already own whether that be for practical use or for pleasure and the enjoyment and I’m definitely not ignoring what my heart wants.
I’m aware that I’ve never actually talked about a wishlist or anything on my blog before so I thought it would be fun and different! I’ve given myself the year to purchase these but I’m not saying that these are definitely what I’m going to run out and buy if I get some extra money just things that I aim to at least have looked at buying before the year is out!

Last week I uploaded an Elf Haul post where I bought extra things so that I qualified for a deal so that in the long run I got things cheaper! In the haul my main priority was buying brushes but I got some extra things that I thought I would try out and then review for you guys!
It has definitely been a couple months since I last purchased anything from Elf and with the £10 discount offer they had running fort heir New Years sale I couldn’t really miss the opportunity. Organisation is key when you live a busy life and I feel like towards the end of last year my life went a bit crazy in terms of busy! I have such a lack of organisational skills but this year I feel like it’s something I need to tackle. I am moving into a new apartment come the 1st of July and I need to budget and make sure that I can live without struggle so I definitely need to figure something out.
I decided that I would go out and buy some things that I feel like might help me organise my life and keep me on track.
